The Fishing has been just outstanding with all fish species turning up in good numbers and size.The Snapper like every year has been great with some very large Snaps we caught in the shallows going well in to the mid 20lbs and most being released. Best breaders.
The Kingfish has also been great with the fish size being on average larger than this time last year and great numbers to be caught at the Cape and around at the 71 foul.
The Monterey took out the 2012 Juniors comp again with 26 Kingfish caught and tagged plus the Top angler prize as well. To Much fun!
The Marlin though being a bit late due to the colder water have now arrived at the Bay and are close in around the Bird trench and the Cape area. This will only get better over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
